HIGHLIGHTING ACTIVITIES
“Teachers’ Day Celebration-2025”
The Teachers’ Day was celebrated on 08.09.2025, under the joint auspices of the Fine Arts Club and the Students’ Council.
The event was presided over by the Principal, Dr. A. Mohanasundaram, and felicitations were delivered by the Vice Principal, Dr. C. Nanjappa. The students, representing the Fine Arts Club and Students’ Council organized various competitions designed to rejuvenate and engage the faculty members, creating a joyful and respectful atmosphere.
As a token of gratitude, the students presented special gifts to all faculty members, expressing their appreciation for the dedicated service and guidance provided by their teachers.
Adding more color to the event, Dhiyaneshwar S (Students’ Union President), Aswath (Fine Arts Club Secretary), and students Bhavani, Kavivarthini, and Surekha delivered heartfelt speeches under the theme “Tribute to Teachers,” expressing their admiration, respect, and gratitude toward their mentors.
The celebration was meticulously coordinated by Mr. P. Arokia Raj, Fine Arts Club Coordinator, and Mr. Kumaravel, Students’ Council Coordinator, along with the support of assistant professors and student volunteers.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Mythili, a second-year student, who eloquently acknowledged the contributions of the teaching community and the successful organization of the event.
The event was a memorable occasion that highlighted the deep bond between students and teachers and served as a sincere expression of student appreciation for their educators.
Fine Arts Club Inauguration
The Fine Arts Club of Shree Venkateshwara Arts and Science (Co-Education) College, for the year 2025-2026 was officially inaugurated on 28.08.2025, held at Auditorium. The event marked a significant step towards nurturing creativity and artistic expression among students.
The inauguration began with a warm welcome address by Mrs. S. Devi, from Department of Computer Science who emphasized the importance of fine arts in holistic education.
Following the inauguration, the newly formed club’s objectives and upcoming activities were presented by the faculty coordinator Mr. P. Arokyaraj, who encouraged students to actively participate and showcase their talents.
The highlight of the event was the announcement of the elected office bearers of the Fine Arts Club for the academic year 2025-2026. The elections were held earlier through a transparent and democratic process.
தமிழ் கனவு எனும் சொற்பொழிவு
கல்லூரி கல்வித்துறை சார்பாக தமிழ் கலாச்சார பண்பாட்டினை நிலை நிறுத்தும் தொடர்பாக “மாபெரும் தமிழ் கனவு” எனும் சொற்பொழிவு (21.08.2025) அன்று பண்ணாரி அம்மன் தொழில்நுட்பக் கல்லூரி, சத்தியமங்கலம், ஈரோடு இல் நடைபெற்றது. இச்சொற்பொழிவில் சிறப்பு விருந்தினராக திருமிகு தி .செந்தில்வேல் அவர்கள் கலந்துகொண்டு தமிழ்நாட்டின் வெற்றிக்கதை என்னும் தலைப்பில் உரையாற்றினார். மேலும் இச்சொற்பொழிவில் சிறந்த கேள்வி கேட்ட ஸ்ரீ வெங்கடேஸ்வரா கலை மற்றும் அறிவியல் கல்லூரி, செல்வி. தேவவர்தினி, வணிகவியல் துறை மாணவிக்கு மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் அவர்களால் சிறப்பு பரிசு வழங்கப்பட்டது. இதில் ஸ்ரீ வெங்கடேஸ்வரா கலை மற்றும் அறிவியல் கல்லூரியின் சார்பாக நூறு மாணவர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.
